Day to Day Itineray

Day 1: Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

After breakfast, you’ll embark on a drive to Lake Manyara National Park, known for its remarkable scenery and variety of ecosystems. This park is home to tree-climbing lions, the world’s largest concentration of baboons, and an array of bird species. Enjoy game viewing amidst the park’s acacia woodlandshot springs, and the striking soda lake. After your game drive, travel to Karatu for dinner and overnight at a lodge.

Following breakfast, you’ll depart for the legendary Serengeti National Park, traveling through the highlands of Karatu and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you descend into the vast Serengeti plains, you’ll witness one of Africa’s richest ecosystems. The Seronera area and Seronera River attract large populations of wildlife, providing excellent game-viewing opportunities. After an afternoon game drive, enjoy dinner and stay overnight at Matawi Serengeti Tented Camp.

Begin your day with an early morning game drive in Serengeti before traveling to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. En route, stop at the Olduvai Gorge, one of the most significant archaeological sites in the world. Continue to your lodge for a relaxing evening after a day filled with exploration.

After breakfast, descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. You’ll also encounter a high density of predators such as lions, hyenas, and elusive leopards. A stop at Lake Magadi will offer views of flamingos and hippos. After a picnic lunch, return to Arusha for drop-off at your hotel or the airport.
